Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AssistPedia ("AssistPedia", "we", "us"), operated by AssistPedia, including assistpedia.com and related authenticated services. By creating an account, signing in, or using the platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use AssistPedia.

2. Eligibility

You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live and meet any minimum age required by applicable law (typically at least 13). If you use AssistPedia on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. The service

AssistPedia provides tools, articles and insights, community threads, creator programs, and related products (including deploy-ready offerings such as ConsultX) for professionals, founders, and builders. Features may change, expand, or be retired as we improve the platform.

Some tools are embedded from separate applications. Roadmaps, calculators, and utilities are provided for general guidance. Outputs are not professional, legal, financial, or medical advice unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing.

4. Accounts and sign-in

You may sign in using Google OAuth through Firebase Authentication. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your Google account secure.

You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security risk.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit, including articles, comments, thread posts, uploads, and profile information ('User Content'). By posting User Content on AssistPedia, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute it solely to operate, promote, and improve the service.

You represent that you have the rights needed to post your User Content and that it does not infringe others' rights or violate law. We may remove content that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe creates liability for AssistPedia or other users.

6. Creators and Earn With Us

If you participate in creator, contributor, or monetization programs, additional guidelines or agreements may apply. Payouts, eligibility, and content standards will be communicated in program materials. We may modify or discontinue programs with reasonable notice where practicable.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse AssistPedia. For example, you will not:

• Break the law or encourage illegal activity
• Harass, threaten, defame, or discriminate against others
• Post spam, malware, phishing, or deceptive content
• Attempt to access accounts or systems without authorization
• Scrape, crawl, or overload the service except through documented APIs we provide
• Reverse engineer or interfere with security or rate limits
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
• Use the service to build a competing product by systematically extracting our content or user data

8. Third-party services

AssistPedia integrates with third parties such as Google (sign-in and optional product features), hosting providers, analytics, and embedded tool applications. Your use of third-party services is subject to their terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party websites, apps, or actions taken outside AssistPedia.

9. Our intellectual property

AssistPedia's name, branding, site design, software, and original materials (excluding User Content) are owned by AssistPedia or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute our materials except as allowed by these Terms or with our written permission.

10. Disclaimers

AssistPedia is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free tools, or specific outcomes from using insights, threads, or roadmaps.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AssistPedia and its team will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of AssistPedia.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the specific paid feature giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before the event, or (b) INR 5,000. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the maximum permitted by law.

12. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify assistpedia and its personnel against claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content, your misuse of the service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using AssistPedia at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continued provision creates risk for us or other users. Sections that by nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnity) will survive.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated through the site or by email where appropriate. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in New Delhi, India will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or your use of AssistPedia, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
